Mohonk Preserve Experience

Whether you love hiking, biking, rock climbing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding - or all of the above - Mohonk Preserve should be at the top of your list.  Located in the Shawangunk Ridge, the preserve features 40 miles of trails and 70 miles of carriage roads highlighted by cliffs, forests, fields, ponds and streams.  As you enjoy your favorite activity, you are surrounded by more than 1,400 plant and animal species including the peregrine falcon.

Upon your arrival at the hotel, begin your experience at the First Capitol Bistro.  Hand your vouchers to the bartender and enjoy 2 craft beers as you peruse the map of Mohonk Preserve trails and plan your day tomorrow.  Wind down for the evening in your deluxe accommodations including complimentary WiFi and a 42" flat screen television.  When dawn breaks, remember to grab the bottled waters out of your mini fridge, and the gift bag that you received at check in.  You'll need your day passes to access the Preserve and the granola bars will be the perfect energy boost later on the trail.  Don't forget to apply the lip balm before heading out into the sun!  On the way to your car, stop by the Bistro again to pick up your Grab & Go breakfast.  As you climb into your car, reference the included directions and parking instructions for a seamless trip.  We've tossed in additional hiking brochures as inspiration for your next trip to Kingston.  Book your Mohonk Preserve Experience now by calling 845-338-0400.  Your Shawangunk Ridge adventure awaits!
